Position Summary: To ensure consistency in financial management of university, fee related sources, State and Federal funds received by the Ferguson College of Agriculture (FCOA). Under the general direction of Division of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources (DASNR) Assistant Vice-President and Senior Financial Officer, will assist in the development and oversight of financial reporting, budget processes and activities including verifying the integrity and accuracy of financial operations, safeguarding organizational assets, and developing efficient business processes. Performs advanced accounting, budgeting and fiscal analysis to support the leadership team in the FCOA, specifically the Associate Dean and the staff and personnel that support the Associate Dean’s office. Collaboration and cooperation are expected of all staff in the FCOA and in OSU Agriculture which is comprised of the FCOA and two state agencies: the Oklahoma Agricultural Experiment Station (Ag Research) and the Oklahoma Cooperative Extension Service (Ag Extension).

Bachelor’s in Business, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Agribusiness, Agriculture Economics, or related field with 5 years of experience in accounting, finance, business administration or related field.
Job Competencies:
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or other related certification

- Strong commitment to affirmative action.
- GAAP, financial management, advanced spreadsheet expertise, systems analysis, and business administration.
