Position Summary :
The Clinical Assistant / Associate Professor of OB / GYN Medicine(Clinical Faculty Non-Tenure) will be responsible for directing both low and high-riskobstetrical services and gynecological care of patients in the Department ofObstetrics and Gynecology. Duties willinclude supervision of residents and medical students in the hospital setting.

Position Qualifications :
Position Qualifications : This position requires a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine or Doctor ofMedicine, Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology through the AOBOG orABOG, Board certified or eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology, and licensed topractice in Oklahoma.
Aminimum of 2 years of experience in direct patient care and the management ofgynecological conditions and both low and high-risk pregnancies. Appropriate effort and activity in teachingand service will also be necessary as well as a clinical record of sufficientdepth to qualify for faculty appointment at the rank of Clinical AssistantProfessor.
Skills, Proficiencies and Knowledge :
The position requires stronganalytical skills, advanced multi-tasking skills, advanced problem-solvingskills, and the ability to effectively plan. Good communication and leadership skills are a positive. Interpersonal skills are required to interacteffectively with faculty, students, and administration.
70% Clinical :
Attending physician in the in-patient service on a rotating schedule of 12and / or 24 hours shifts equaling 168 for approximately 14 shifts per month. This position will cover L & D, triage,and emergency room.
20% Training :
Work with OSU Ob / Gyn Residents through the practice providing oversight ofinpatient activities.
10% Administrative :
Completion of patient charts, resident evaluations, evaluating quality measuresand other duties as assigned by the Chair of Ob / Gyn Department.
