The Fellowship Program Coordinator for the LaunchPad Center for AAM (Advanced Air Mobility) within the Oklahoma Aerospace Institute for Research and Education (OAIRE) will manage and oversee the daily operations and long-term strategic initiatives of all fellows in the program. This role involves coordinating research activities, facilitating student and faculty engagement, and acting as the primary liaison between the fellows and university faculty and industry partners. The Fellowship Program Coordinator will play a pivotal role in nurturing innovation, fostering collaborations, and ensuring that fellows are prepared to translate their research into viable ventures.
Key Responsibilities :
Oversee the administration and execution of the AAM Research Fellowship Program, ensuring the program’s success in attracting, supporting, and graduating fellows.
Develop and manage the program calendar, including application cycles, workshops, seminars, internships, and networking events.
Coordinate the selection process of fellowship candidates, working closely with faculty and industry partners to identify and admit high-potential students.
Monitor and support fellows’ progress throughout the research cycle, including regular check-ins, feedback sessions, and reporting on milestones.
Organize and lead orientation sessions, capstone projects, and thesis presentations for fellows.
Facilitate the alignment of research projects with industry needs by collaborating with consortium partners and faculty members.
Track and report on program outcomes, including research projects, commercialization achievements, industry collaborations, and fellow career placements.
Collect and analyze feedback from fellows, faculty, and industry partners to continuously improve program offerings.
Develop and present annual reports to university leadership and external stakeholders, highlighting program achievements and growth opportunities.
Provide administrative support to the LaunchPad Director.
