Job Summary:
The primary responsibility of the Program Coordinator is to plan, promote, organize, budget, facilitate, and evaluate short-term faculty-led study abroad programs with the College of Education and Human Sciences (CEHS) Global Engagement Office. The individual must be able to create and organize activities and events that meet the academic standards of the course and also adhere to the university guidelines for international student travel.
This position is responsible for coordinating the scheduling of academic and cultural activities while also maintaining the budgetary and logistical needs of the program. It also manages the development of promotional materials, organize international events and programs for the college, and assist with program promotional activities.
This position works with a wide variety of constituents including students, staff, faculty, service providers, and industry partners.
Exceptional Working Conditions:
Some days extend beyond 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. due to length of program and schedule of when it occurs. Saturdays and Sundays may be required to attend conferences or while on domestic or international travel.

Position Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a related field
One year of related experience.
Flexibility in regard to working with others. Excellent communication skills required. Should exhibit initiative to develop and complete projects and be able to work with others internally (department/college) and external customers in international education. Must have excellent organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience working across cultures and time zones. Experience managing program budgets and logistics. Supervisory experience with student staff. Ability to work with a team and lead projects to success. Ability and willingness to speak in front of groups. Ability to handle disruptions while producing accurate information. Experience with traveling or living abroad. Proficiency in Microsoft applications, Outlook and OSU specific programs (Banner, AIRS, Terra Dotta).
Experience managing social media platforms. Fluency in a second language is a preferred skill.
