The Senior Interior Design position serves as the principle interior designer for project development and coordinates the development of interior specifications to assure conformity throughout the Interior Design group. The primary responsibilities include :
- Has extensive involvement in all phases of interior architectural projects and their management, including presentations, design development, and production.
- Acts as the team consultant on all assigned projects.
- Is responsible for multiple projects including developing schedules, and budgets.
- Develops OSU interior design standards and guidelines; interacts with upper administration about design policies and project procedures.
- Serves as client’s interior design representative by reviewing and coordinating documents developed by consultants, ensuring that they are compliant with codes and university standards.
- Provides leadership and technical supervision to junior designers for complex, multi-disciplinary project development.
