The OneLink Developer Supervisor is assigned responsibility for the supervision of OneLink Application Developers on a regular and consistent basis. The Supervisor’s responsibilities involve the planning and development of the Onelink Tax System, primarily for e-services, registration, and return processing. This includes the reviewing and analyzing of user functions and activities, the evaluating of available resources and current tax systems, and the developing of appropriate tax programs or tax systems. The Supervisor will also assign and review work, provide training, evaluate performance, provide professional development, and manage schedules, time, and leave of an assigned team.

Special Requirements
Core work hours for the Oklahoma Tax Commission are Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 4:30pm. This schedule may require minor flexibility based on the needs of the agency.
Telework may be required based on the needs of the agency, division, and section. If applicable, applicant must be willing and able to BOTH work on-site and telework at an off-site location, generally in the applicant’s home. Applicant must have a secure internet connection and a dedicated telephone (landline) or smart phone device during scheduled working hours.

- Reviews and analyzes organization business needs; confers with users to evaluate requirements, discuss solutions and develop plan of approach
- Analyzes and designs program logic, screen layouts, reports, station criteria and testing criteria to support development of new or enhanced tax systems; evaluates prototypes, design techniques, tools and instructional methods
- Participates in the planning, design, development, integration and implementation of tax software and technology
- Responsible for the supervision and direction of the support developer staff on one or more of the e-services, registration, and return areas of the OneLink Tax system
- Monitors the application configuration and development activity of the developers assigned to those areas;
- Delegates work to staff and assesses their performance; Provides weekly informal feedback; Provides annual formal feedback with the Performance Management Plan (PMP);
- Prepares and plans for major projects or assignments and efficiently allocates resources for their completion;
- Trains and mentors staff in the components of the OneLink Tax system
- Monitors scheduled jobs and configures and maintains the OneLink Tax system
- Establishes best practices, methodology, and discipline, for group activities, policies, and procedures;
- Coordinates with other Innovation Division functional areas, OTC Divisions, and external state agencies when processing or developing processes on the OneLink Tax system Gathers and categorizes statistical data as required for process analysis and improvements;
- Exuberates and practices “Customer Service” by being a member of a service-oriented organization, providing IT services throughout the agency, and when applicable, to external state agencies.
Knowledge of

Education and Experience requirements at this level consist of
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, CIS or related discipline (Other disciplines may be considered if IT Professional Certifications are earned); PLUS Five years of experience with operational web based applications from conception to deployment
- OR an equivalent combination of education and experience
