Basic Purpose
This is a full-time position located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
The Oklahoma Turnpike Authority is seeking an experienced Business Intelligence Analyst III to play a vital role in the Revenue Assurance Division leveraging data to drive strategic decisions and support business goals. This position will lead a team that identifies revenue leakage providing solutions to fix the root cause of the loss. This role will lead initiatives to enhance decision-making processes with a solid foundation in Business Intelligence (BI) methodologies, data modeling and analytics platform.
Compensation
This is the specialist level. Incumbents have specialized knowledge in a specific research area, such as planning and developing retrospective and prospective statistical studies for administrative and programmatic purposes using pre/post comparisons and contrast or control groups. Work may include research or studies of the population, demographics, trend analysis, economics, general business, health status and diseases.
Education And Experience
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities required at this level include knowledge of statistical and research theory and methods; of sources of data; of probability and sampling; of data processing applications to data management problems; of visual representation of data; of inferential statistics; of techniques of data collection; of a wide range of analytical principles and practices; and of methods and techniques of disseminating public information. Ability is required to produce and maintain accurate data; to write technical reports using statistical software programs; to communicate statistical results; to plan and organize programmatic research projects; and to conduct cost/benefit analysis.

Compensation
- Up to $96,000.00 based on experience.
- Play a leading role in the Revenue Assurance Division formulating BI strategies that align with organizational goals, driving the development of advanced analytics solutions that deliver impactful insights focused on revenue leakage.
- Create and oversee the implementation of advanced dashboards and reporting mechanisms that provide strategic insights to senior management, enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization.
- Command an expert level understanding of BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Looker), overseeing their application in extracting, transforming, and analyzing data to meet high-level business needs.
- Serve as a senior consultant to department heads and executives, offering strategic guidance on leveraging BI tools and methodologies to achieve business objectives.
- Lead data governance initiatives, ensuring the highest standards of data integrity, quality, and security across all BI projects.
- Utilize advanced predictive modeling and statistical analysis techniques to anticipate future trends and inform long-term strategic planning.
- Mentor junior analysts and lead organizational training initiatives to build internal BI capabilities, promoting a culture of data literacy and analytical excellence.

Education And Experience
- 5 years of in-depth experience in business intelligence or similar analytical role, with a proven track record of leading high-impact BI initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. Business background with professional certifications in business intelligence, data analytics, or related areas are highly preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in BI platforms (e.g., Power BI, Looker) and data manipulation languages (e.g., SQL), with a strong background in data warehousing and ETL processing.
- Demonstrated expertise in data modeling, statistical analysis, and predictive modeling.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills, capable of leading complex projects to successful completion.
- Outstanding communication abilities, with the skill to convey intricate data insights to executive-level stakeholders.
- Leadership experience in designing, deploying, and managing enterprise-level BI solutions, including comprehensive dashboards, reports, and analytics platforms.
- A track record of mentoring team members and fostering a collaborative, innovative data analytics culture.
- This position reports daily to the Revenue Assurance Division at OTA Headquarters, 3500 Martin Luther King Ave, Oklahoma City.
- This position works in a comfortable office setting with a computer for a large percentage of the workday.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually mild.
