Duties
- Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
- Teach mathematics concepts ranging from basic arithmetic to advanced topics such as Algebra and Geometry.
- Utilize instructional design principles to create engaging learning materials and activities.
- Assess student progress through regular evaluations, quizzes, and assignments.
- Provide mentoring and support to students, helping them overcome challenges in their mathematical studies.
- Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance the overall educational experience within the institution.
- Maintain an organized classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Stay updated on the latest educational research and methodologies related to mathematics instruction.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field.
- Proven experience in teaching mathematics at the middle or high school level is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of mathematical concepts including Algebra, Geometry, and other advanced topics.
- Excellent proofreading skills to ensure clarity and accuracy in instructional materials.
- Familiarity with instructional design techniques to effectively engage students in learning.
- Ability to mentor students and provide guidance in their academic pursuits.
- A background in scientific research or fields such as Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Microbiology, or Research Laboratory settings is a plus but not required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.
