What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inventory Clerk position at Olathe Ford?

We are looking for the right individual to helps meet that goal. This person would unload trucks, receive and locate product to valid location, pick parts for work orders, and complete cycle counts
- Essential Functions & Responsibilities
- Unload all deliveries and properly stage for receipt
- Receive product into system (inspect, count, verify correct product) and locate into system where product is placed
- Ensure warehouse storage area is kept neat and orderly
- Complete daily cycle counts of inventory
- Pick product and stage in designated area for upcoming work orders
- Relocate product as able to consolidate locations and organize warehouse
- Have a valid drivers license with a clean driving record
- Assist techs and / or move vehicles as needed
- Physical Demands
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, talk, and hear. The employee is regularly required to sit, use hands to finger, handle, feel, and reach and lift with hands and arms.
- The employee must regularly lift and / or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and / or move up to 100 pounds without assistance.
- The employee must be able to see proficiently enough to safely drive material handling equipment and vehicles.
- Desirable Qualifications
- Past experience in a warehouse environment
- Forklift Experience
- Inventory control experience
- Mechanical knowledge
- Knowledge and Skills
- Demonstrates proficient ability to work safely.
- Demonstrates ability to work independently, and capable of working from a list of tasks without direct supervision
- Demonstrates proficient ability to drive material handling equipment
- Demonstrates effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills to effectively communicate with coworkers
- Demonstrates a desire and commitment to promote and share the AFI values and culture.
