As a Packaging Graphics Technologist you will work as a project manager for salty snacks packaging graphics including top US brands for popcorn, pretzels and cheese curls. You are expected to be highly organized, self-motivated, detail-oriented and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously while anticipating the needs of client.

As a Packaging Graphics Technologist you will work as a project manager for salty snacks packaging graphics including top US brands for popcorn, pretzels and cheese curls. You are expected to be highly organized, self-motivated, detail-oriented and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously while anticipating the needs of client.
Duties and Responsibilities Include:
- Execute graphics projects in preparation for printing
- Ensure brand visual identity and adherence to design standards\Communicate technical challenges in order to adapt a given design to meet regional suppliers capabilities
- Partner with packaging engineer(s) to ensure graphics requirements are represented in the package technical drawings
- Responsible for coordinating corrective actions and providing transparency to functional areas to ensure adherence to production schedules and to minimize production impact
- Partner with Hershey operations or procurement to make recommendations on the selection of packaging material suppliers based on the integration of brand equity requirements, supplier capacity and complexity of the supply base
- Provide project cost estimates and ensure transparency of costing as a result of changes
- Establish technical printing guides for every project based on the printing method, in order to ensure best possible execution
Qualifications Include:
- Project management and organization skills
- Knowledge of consumer products packaging, prepress production, and printing
- General understanding of major printing methods (Flexo, Gravure, Offset)
- Proficient use of the Microsoft operating system including knowledge of business software such as Office 365 and Acrobat
- Fundamental knowledge of color management; spectrophotometry and densitometry, a plus
- Experience in SAP and/or Esko WebCenter, a plus
