What we are looking for. (Responsibilities and Duties)
- Cultivate a welcoming showroom atmosphere where guests don't feel pressured, are comfortable asking questions and feel confident making their home furnishings purchases
- Serve as the first and last touch point for customers, taking lead on answering incoming phone calls and ending a customers experience by finishing transaction purchases
- Process sales orders, schedule deliveries and assist with financing related questions
- Accept/process payments including cash, credit and financing
- Notify customers when merchandise is ready for them to enjoy
- Deliver a welcoming, no-pressure retail shopping environment
Who you are. (Qualifications and Skills)
- Enjoy working with people both on the phone and in-person
- Constantly curious and willing to learn
- Possess basic computer and math skills (Outlook, Word Excel)
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a team-driven and customer-centric retail environment
- Ability to multi-task and work at a fast (but accurate pace) at all times.
- Work and time management
- Ability to work weekends, evenings and retail holidays
Position reports to the Store Manager.
**DATES TIMES NEEDED:**
- Hours Needed - Sunday thru Thursday 9:30-6 or 11:30-8 (shifts may vary weekly, but a set schedule is established) // Off Friday Saturday
