This role will successfully schedule company appointments to current and potential customers or clients in a fast paced high call volume environment via phone, e-mail, and records time and date of appointments in the AS400 system database or other company / internal freight monitoring system used within the company. Appointment Clerks are a critical member to our OD Family; they help us keep promises to our customers.Responsibilities : Answer incoming calls and place outgoing calls to customers to schedule pickups and deliveryEnter appointments in the computer in a timely mannerPerform general customer service by responding to emails, status of shipments, helping customers correctly complete Bill of Ladings and label freight, etc.Provide Service 2.OD to internal and external customersQualifications : High School diploma or equivalent preferred1 year of customer service experience, preferably in the transportation industryStrong attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficiency with Microsoft OfficeExperience AS400 preferredWorking Days : Shift and hours to be determined.Working Shift : Shift and hours to be determined.Work Days and Shift are estimates and are subject to change, at any given time, based on job scheduling and / or business levels.
