What are the responsibilities and job description for the Reservationist- Full-Time/Part-Time Year Round position at Old Forge Camping Resort?
Scope:
A Reservationist is responsible for guest relations, reservations and all front desk activities. Reservationists work closely with the Maintenance Technician and/or Head Housekeeper to ensure outstanding service is provided to all guests from the point of sale through departure. Reservationists must maintain team priorities consistent with hotel objectives and company practices. Reservationists are required to work at both the Water's Edge Inn and Old Forge Campground.
Essential Duties:
- Administer the reservation, registration and front desk process.
- Keep a positive and friendly attitude towards all guests, all the time.
- Work with the reservation team to ensure efficient check in/check out processes.
- Ensure all policy, health and safety procedures are accurately communicated with guests.
- Recommend changes or updates to policies, procedures and protocols.
- Help to train and coach new team members.
- Provide recommendations for the resolution of guest complaints.
- Other duties as required for the efficient operation of the business.

- Experience in the lodging industry to include reservation, guest service and front deck operations helpful.
