Housekeepers are responsible for the appearance and cleanliness of the inside of hotel rooms, lobby, cottages, restrooms, laundry rooms, shower facilities, arcade, family lounge and common areas at the Old Forge Camping Resort & Waters Edge Inn. Housekeepers have a high level of guest interaction.
Essential Duties
Housekeepers are responsible for the appearance and cleanliness of the inside of hotel rooms, lobby, cottages, restrooms, laundry rooms, shower facilities, arcade, family lounge and common areas at the Old Forge Camping Resort & Waters Edge Inn. Housekeepers have a high level of guest interaction.
Essential Duties
- Efficiently and effectively clean Hotel Rooms, Common Areas, Cottages, Restrooms, Showers, Laundry Rooms, Arcade, Lobby, Lodge and Family Lounge (sweep, mop, dust, trash removal)
- Follow strict guidelines with regard to Health & Safety procedures
- Exert up to 25 pounds of force to lift, push, pull, carry or otherwise move objects
- Perform work safely in accordance with departmental Health & Safety regulations
- Safely drive and maneuver a golf cart (Must possess a valid driver license) and adhere to policy regarding speed and location
- Greet guests and team members in a professional and friendly manner
- Exhibit a friendly, cooperative and professional demeanor
- Must be safety conscious
- Must be well groomed, self-disciplined and willing to comply with policy regarding uniform guidelines & cellphone usage
- Maintains productive and respectful working relationships
- Able to interact professionally with a diverse group of people
- Able to work effectively alone and as part of a team
- Be flexible in working changing shifts to suit the needs of the business
- Able to work in a high pressure fast paced environment
