We are seeking a Food Service Supervisor!
Food Manager certification is required for this position.

Essential Job Functions:
- Great interpersonal, communication and customer-service skills.
- Monitor food quality and portion control to maintain high standards of nutrition and satisfaction among residents.
- Oversee meal service to ensure residents receive timely and appropriate meals according to their individualized dietary plans.
- This position requires flexible hours/days, night, weekends and holidays.
- Assists in assigning specific job and spot checking to ensure standards are met.
- Ensures that all policies and procedures related to safety and health are followed, including but not limited to MSDS information, safe work practices, infection control and universal precautions.
- Promotes teamwork within the department and between departments to ensure smooth operations and quality service.
Other Duties:
- Assists in development, implementation and maintenance of written dining room service objectives and standards of practice with procedures for implementation.
- Assists in assuring staff education is provided to dining room personnel in accordance with the staff education plan, plus provides on the job training for dining room personnel.
- Ensures that dining room service is in compliance with all local, federal and state regulations in relation to service, sanitation and personnel.
- Conduct daily pre-shift meeting, in-service training and tailored training courses.
- Inspects multiple pantries and equipment’s to determine repair or maintenance needs and cleanliness.
- Attends in-service training/meetings and ensure monthly education sessions through Relias are being completed on time as assigned.
- Auditing pantries’ service offerings, initiating improvements with dietary manager.
- Performs specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned by manager.
