Field Marketing Specialist

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and driven individual to join our team as the Field Marketing Specialist at Old Scratch Pizza. This role focuses on developing and executing localized marketing plans, training teams, and enhancing the brand's presence within the community. As a key contributor to the company's growth, the Field Marketing Specialist will work closely with restaurant leaders to drive guest traffic, foster community relationships, and ensure consistent brand representation across all locations.

Key Responsibilities:

Marketing Strategy and Execution

• Work with Marketing Manager to develop and implement localized marketing plans tailored to the unique needs of each market while aligning with the overall brand strategy.
• Oversee local sponsorships, events, and promotions that reinforce Old Scratch Pizzas community presence.
• Support New Store Openings (NSO) by coordinating public relations, grand openings, and community outreach.
• Maintain brand consistency across all marketing activities and locations.

Training and Support

• Train restaurant teams on marketing plan execution, ensuring they have the tools and knowledge for success.
• Serve as a marketing consultant for General Managers, providing guidance and solutions to local challenges.
• Act as the primary liaison between field teams and headquarters for marketing initiatives.

Community and Relationship Building

• Build and maintain relationships with local partners, media, and community organizations.
• Collaborate with restaurant leaders to enhance neighborhood engagement and establish Old Scratch Pizza as a community staple.
• Evaluate and secure local sponsorship opportunities that align with company values.

Event Coordination

• Lead planning and execution of events, including festivals, sponsorships, and in-restaurant promotions.
• Actively participate in events, ensuring seamless execution and guest satisfaction.

Performance Tracking and Reporting

• Monitor and analyze marketing campaign performance, providing regular updates to leadership.
• Maintain a calendar of events and promotions, tracking results and ROI to inform future strategies.

Additional Duties

• Adapt plans as market conditions evolve, maintaining flexibility to address new opportunities and challenges.
• Travel as needed to support restaurants, events, and team training sessions.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

Reside in Dayton, OH

3 years of experience in field or local marketing, with proven success in plan development and execution.

Strong project management and multitasking skills.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities to train and motivate teams.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, including weekends and non-standard business hours.

Ability and willingness to travel as required.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in the food and beverage or hospitality industry.

Familiarity with event planning and local sponsorships.

Knowledge of marketing systems, media buying, and financial budget management.

Work Environment:

This job may entail frequent exposure to high temperatures and extreme cold. There is frequent contact/immersion of hands in water and sanitation solutions; as well as contact with produce items, dairy products, and frequent allergen-related items such as nuts, citrus, gluten, etc.

Physical Requirements:

• Stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds, may be required.
• Have good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination, may be required to operate and use various kitchen equipment and tools.
• Ability to communicate and avoid dangerous situations

It is important that applicants are able to meet these physical requirements to perform the duties of the job. There is substantial repetitive motion of the wrists, hands, and fingers. Must be able to maneuver in walk-in coolers and freezers.
