**Job Title: Part-Time Childcare and Front Counter Staff**
**Overview:**
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as Part-Time Childcare and Front Counter Staff at our small health club. This role requires a blend of childcare responsibilities and front desk duties, ensuring a welcoming environment for both parents and children.
**Responsibilities:**
1. **Childcare Services:**
- Supervise and engage with children in our childcare area, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Organize and lead age-appropriate activities, including games, crafts, and story time, to keep children entertained and stimulated.
- Maintain a clean and organized childcare area, including sanitizing toys and equipment regularly.
- Adhere to health and safety protocols, including verifying children's identities and ensuring proper sign-in and sign-out procedures.
2. **Customer Service:**
- Greet members and guests warmly as they enter the facility, providing excellent customer service and addressing inquiries or concerns in a professional manner.
- Assist with front desk duties, including answering phones, scheduling appointments, and processing payments.
- Provide information about our childcare services, membership options, and facility amenities to prospective and current members.
- Ensure the front desk area is tidy and well-maintained, including stocking supplies and organizing paperwork.
3. **Team Collaboration:**
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure seamless operations and a positive member experience.
- Communicate effectively with management regarding any issues or concerns related to childcare services or front desk operations.
- Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to stay informed about club policies, procedures, and upcoming events.
**Qualifications:**
- Previous experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, or similar setting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with both children and adults.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with office software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, scheduling software).
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain certification).
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable and punctual, with a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings and weekends as needed.
