**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a highly skilled MES Application Technical Lead to join our team at Oldcastle APG. As a key member of our manufacturing systems group, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership and support for our Manufacturing Execution System (MES) application suite.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, particularly with C# and SQL. You will work closely with operations teams to identify and resolve system issues, develop training materials, and maintain server and client applications that support MES functions.
**Key Responsibilities:*
- Provide first-line daily support to manufacturing operations to maintain and improve MES systems
- Solve complex technical problems related to system settings, database tables, and minor programming changes
- Develop and deliver training materials to ensure end-users become self-sufficient
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new features and enhance existing ones
- Travel up to 25% of the time for implementation, troubleshooting, training, and support
**Requirements:**
* Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Computer Science/Integrated Manufacturing disciplines or equivalent
* Experience with Visual c#, Java or Visual Basic; SQL queries and stored procedures
* Familiarity with Microsoft Server OS, and Microsoft Windows OS
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills
