The MES Application Support Engineer plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing systems. This position involves providing first-line support to operations teams at all plants, responding to requests for assistance with system issues.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of how MES works and be able to make modifications to system settings and database tables as needed. Additionally, they will need to learn minor programming changes in some parts of the system.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide daily support to manufacturing operations to maintain and improve these systems by responding to tickets.
- L earn manufacturing processes and MES system processes.
- S upport Seagull Bartender printing applications and related systems.
- Maintain MES applications, including system configurations, database settings, and application updates and settings.
- Some application (C#) development.
- S QL database queries, relations, and stored procedure modification.
- Mapping and updating manufacturing process, software architecture, and other diagrams in Lucid Charts.
