Job Summary

The Market Business Partner reporting to VP Solutions Operations will support business leaders in an assigned geography (market) to create and nurture market plans, identifying key customers, influencers, and projects to drive CRH awareness and opportunities in their assigned market. This individual will act as the hub for all CRH-focused commercial activities. This is a remote position may be based out of any of the following states : California, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Utah or Colorado.

Job Responsibilities

  • Working with the business leaders in a particular geography and the market team to develop a targeted market-planned approach for CRH-focused opportunities.
  • Support the market teams on project managing pipeline maturity, nurturing opportunities to win / lost, and recording activity in Salesforce.com.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to market teams, emphasizing customer-connected selling methodologies, collaboration, and addressing customer pain points.
  • Support new market team launches within assigned geography.
  • Engage with local market leaders to identify and qualify CRH-focused opportunities.
  • Support the Monthly Business Review through Salesforce trackers and dashboards.
  • Collaborate with other Business Partners to facilitate sharing of best practices.
  • Provide input to optimize commercial playbooks.
  • Drive playbook utilization and value selling tools across assigned market teams.
  • Build a CRH network and work across the organization to identify market drivers.
  • Build a market network to help connect the market team to developers, specifiers, and engineers.
  • Other duties as directed by management.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field of study is preferred.
  • Minimum five (5) years of progressive business experience, mixture of operational and commercial experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience in building materials, construction or manufacturing sectors preferred.
  • Understanding of how to sell to architects and engineering firms.
  • Ability to solve complex problems by identifying impactful actions.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and complexity.
  • Adept with Salesforce Software.
  • Good communicator- writes well using clear and concise language.
  • Personable, able to connect and collaborate with others.
  • Highly strategic and comfortable with ambiguity.
