People Business Partner

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Serve as both a strategic and operational business partner, providing support to the Retail Operations team. Focus on enhancing work relationships, boosting morale, and increasing retention
• Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues, approve disciplinary actions, and conducts effective, thorough, timely, and objective investigations
• Responsible for the interpretation of HR policies and processes, while ensuring compliance with the company policies and procedures
• Collaborate with business leaders to identify priorities and translate business requirements into effective HR practices, delivering solutions that align with organizational objectives
• Support Store Leaders with the administration of benefits, FMLA, LOA, and ADA compliance
• Contribute to the development and implementation of change management strategies that support the critical evolution of the business, ensuring the achievement of sustainable and long-term business results
• Proactively identify areas of opportunity to provide leadership development and training
• Analyze HR data and metrics to identify trends and provide insights to management for decision-making and strategic planning
• 20% travel to assigned region to offer in-market HR support to local leaders

Compensation & Benefits

Pay Range : $85k-$95k DOE & Bonus Opportunity!

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Maverik / Kum&Go considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
