Focus: The Manufacturing Leader – Chlorine 5 is responsible forsupporting the site’s Chlorine 5 Department. The Manufacturing Leader position has shared responsibility and accountability for the management of plant assets, personnel, and achievement of plant-related business objectives. The role delivers plant based business and administrative leadership to an empowered, highly motivated, and talented organization.

Manufacturing Leader Essential Job Functions:

• Supervise and provide performance evaluation, recognition, and discipline for direct reports; foster teamwork and develop ownership
• Review and approve Management of Change (MOC); ensure Most Effective Technology (MET) and specific Operating Discipline requirements are in place; leverage the learning experience reports to implement plant-specific action items as appropriate
• Ensure implementation and ongoing effectiveness of defined plant operating discipline to maintain compliance with all applicable regulatory and company policies, rules, and guidelines
• Promote corporate initiatives within the department such as productivity and reliability improvements; shared responsibility in pursuing 0 OSHA recordable injuries, 0 Process Safety incidents, and 0 compliance violations
• Participate in shut down and turnaround planning and in meeting Business and Plant goals (EH&S, quality, production, cost)
  
  

Manufacturing Leader Minimum Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED
• 10 years of chemical/manufacturing experience; Chlor-Alkali specific experience preferred
• Working knowledge of EHS requirements and maintenance work processes
• Ability to mentor hourly operations personnel and engineers; drive consistency and accountability to ensure tasks are correctly completed
• Must be able to obtain a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) and possess a valid US Driver's license
