Overview
Join our team and provide field/home and/or office based therapeutic services to clients including assessments, treatment planning, individual & group and family therapy, discharge planning, and participation in Child and Family Team meetings.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop a therapeutic relationship with each client.
- Assess individual needs and assist in meeting needs.
- Provide weekly individual, group, and/or family therapy to clients and caregivers.
- Provide target number of direct service minutes and proactively plan with supervisor around barriers.
- Maintain necessary contact with representatives of referring agency, if assigned.
- Maintain open communication, in accordance with therapeutic confidentiality, with family and team.
- Participate in the Child and Family Team process to speak to the mental health needs of the child.
- Maintain detailed records of significant contacts, incidents, relationships, treatment team meetings, group, individual, and family sessions, and case management activity. (i.e., Mental Health Documentation).
- Submit assessments, care plans, and other documentation to supervisor within timelines.
- Complete outcome measures (CANS, CAFAS, PSC35) in a timely manner.
- Maintain flexibility in scheduling to best meet the needs of the client and family.
- Participate in peer reviews and other audit activities.
- Provide crisis de-escalation support to clients (during and after business hours, when instructed).
- Provide intensive home-based mental health services, if deemed appropriate by treatment team.
- Provide intensive Care Coordination services and targeted case management in collaboration with treatment team.
- Must meet weekly expectation of productivity, direct service hours, and percentage on time.
- Comply with Mandated Reporting responsibilities.
- Adhere to agency policies and procedures.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must possess a Master’s Degree in psychology or social work.
- Must possess a license/registration with the Board of Behavioral Sciences or the Board of Psychology.
- Must be Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Must obtain and maintain record clearance free from criminal convictions.
- Must maintain valid California Driver License and clean driving record in accordance with Olive Crest’s auto insurance policy.
- Must maintain vehicle insurance throughout course of employment.
- Working knowledge of computer programs including Outlook and Microsoft Office Suite. Trainable in use of Electronic Health Record.
- Possess good engagement skills and demonstrate a high level of professionalism, common-sense and be able to exercise good judgment.
- Must have a philosophy of support for abused children in line with values, mission and treatment philosophy of Olive Crest.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $76,000.00 - $78,000.00 per year
