Key Responsibilities
Financial Management (50%)
- Ensure the accuracy of financial statements, including profit and loss, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, as prepared in conjunction with third-party providers.
- Manage general ledger accounts and ensure timely reconciliation of accounts payable, receivable, and bank transactions.
- Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure operational stability and financial health.
- AR, Collect Payments from our wholesale clients.
- Ensure accurate data entry and maintenance of financial systems, including R365 and QuickBooks.
- Review and verify sales tax filings and other regulatory reporting requirements.
- Support internal and external audits by providing accurate and timely financial documentation.
- Maintain and enforce internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with GAAP.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting, providing variance analysis and actionable insights.
- Maintain organized financial records and ensure proper documentation of transactions.
- Collaborate with leadership to analyze financial performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Provide financial support for special projects, included but not limited to new store openings and operational initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- 2-4 years of accounting experience, preferably in the restaurant or hospitality industry.
- Proficiency in financial systems such as R365, QuickBooks, and Excel.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and regulatory compliance requirements.
