Job Description:
The Product Manager will lead the Product Management team by managing, tracking, and ensuring the smooth progress of products through all stages of production. This role involves close collaboration with internal teams and production partners to ensure product timelines are met, and it requires experience in the cosmetics industry (or similar), along with strong organizational and analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
● Product Lifecycle Management: Assist in managing and tracking new products in development and existing products through production, ensuring alignment with delivery timelines.
● Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate closely with internal teams, including senior management and our warehouse, as well as external production partners, to meet deadlines and maintain product quality standards.
● Quality Assurance: Monitor production quality and assist in troubleshooting any product-related issues that arise to ensure products meet standards.
● Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records for each product stage, including supply details, production timelines, and quality checks and deliveries. Regularly update reports on product status and timelines for senior management.
● Demand Forecasting: Use Shopify and integrated apps to analyze sales data, sales trends, and inventory levels to forecast product demand accurately and align production schedules accordingly.
Requirements:
● Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Cosmetic Science, Management, Product Development, or a related field.
● Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in the cosmetics, skincare, or beauty industry (or similar), with a focus on production management, quality control, demand forecasting, or a similar role.
Skills:
○ Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
○ Proficiency in production management tools, Shopify Reports and Google Suite.
○ Knowledge of supply chain processes and production workflows.
○ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across departments and with external partners.
○ Analytical skills for demand forecasting and inventory planning.
