Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Wholesale Property & Casualty Insurance Broker to join our clients team in New York City. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with clients, underwriters, and insurance carriers, identifying opportunities for new business, and providing expert guidance on risk management and insurance coverage. This role requires strong communication skills, industry knowledge, and a proven track record in wholesale brokerage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary liaison between clients and insurance carriers, offering expert advice and customized solutions for property and casualty insurance needs.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with carriers, underwriters, and clients to grow the wholesale book of business.
• Negotiate terms, premiums, and conditions with insurance carriers on behalf of clients to secure optimal coverage.
• Analyze client risk profiles and develop tailored insurance strategies that align with their business objectives and industry requirements.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging risks to provide proactive solutions and advice to clients.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless communication and execution of client requirements.
• Support clients in the claims process and ensure timely resolution of issues.
• Manage a portfolio of accounts, ensuring all policies are renewed and service levels are consistently met.
• Provide excellent customer service, demonstrating professionalism, technical expertise, and attention to detail at all times.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in wholesale property and casualty insurance brokerage.
• Strong understanding of property and casualty insurance products, markets, and underwriting processes.
• Proven ability to develop and maintain relationships with clients, carriers, and industry professionals.
• Ability to negotiate and manage complex insurance programs.
• In-depth knowledge of the New York insurance market and relevant regulations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Self-motivated and results-driven with a high level of professionalism and integrity.
• Insurance licenses as required by the state of New York (e.g., Property & Casualty Broker License).
• Bachelor's degree in business, insurance, or a related field (preferred but not required).
