A leading specialty technology insurance platform operating across the US, is seeking a Head of Group Finance Operations to join their rapidly growing team. This role will focus on overseeing Accounts Payable, Travel & Entertainment (T&E) spending, and accounting for internal holding and service companies, with the goal of optimizing and scaling finance operations. As a key member of the leadership team, you will drive innovation, enhance operational efficiency, and implement advanced financial technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and scale the Group Finance Operations team to meet the company's growth.
- Streamline procure-to-pay and accounts payable processes, leveraging modern technologies.
- Oversee T&E functions, ensuring policy adherence and cost optimization.
- Manage accounting for internal holding and service companies in compliance with US GAAP.
- Collaborate with auditors to ensure timely audits and implement continuous process improvements.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent preferred.
- Start-up experience within insurance, SAAS or financial services required
- Extensive experience leading finance operations teams, including Accounts Payable and T&E functions.
- Systems experience within T&E platforms (Ramp, Divvy, Airbase, Expensify, Navan, Emburse) and A/P & Procure-to-Pay (Coupa, Airbase, Zip, Teampay)
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and advanced financial technologies.
- Proven leadership in building high-performing teams.
Compensation: $180K - $200K base bonus
