Our esteemed client, a prominent leader in the Insurance industry, is currently seeking a highly proficient and dedicated professional to join their Finance team as a Manager - Financial Reporting. This is a permanent position based in their dynamic headquarters.
Role & Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) across all financial documentation and reporting.
- Prepare 10-Ks and 10-Qs for SEC reporting process
- Collaborate with internal audit teams to assess and implement improvements in financial processes and controls.
- Manage and guide a team of finance professionals, overseeing their growth and performance in alignment with company objectives.
- Coordinate with external regulators and auditors during periodic audits and reviews.
- Provide strategic financial insights to senior management to aid in long-term financial planning.
- Big Four public accounting background STRONGLY preferred
- CPA designation REQUIRED
- Extensive knowledge of SEC Reporting, 10-ks 10-Qs, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Profound expertise in Financial Reporting and Reporting.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills, capable of articulating financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Proven ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
