Title: Project Manager - Pension Risk Transfer (PRT)
Location: Remote, must be US based, working on EST
Type: 6-12 Month Contract, potential to extend
Pay Range: $50-65/hr W2
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Project Manager with specialized experience in Pension Risk Transfer (PRT) to join our clients growing team. In this role, you will take the lead on complex projects, coordinating across multiple departments and ensuring successful delivery from initiation to completion.
You will play a pivotal role in driving high-impact initiatives, starting with the onboarding process for their expanding PRT business, with potential to contribute to other strategic priorities over time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, deliverables, resource requirements, timelines, and budgets.
- Develop, manage, and maintain comprehensive project plans - experience with Smartsheet is highly preferred.
- Oversee project execution to ensure milestones are met, managing timelines, budgets, and resources for maximum efficiency and return on investment.
- Identify critical requirements, track deliverables, and drive accountability across internal teams and external partners.
- Provide regular project status updates to stakeholders, addressing concerns and managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of project management experience, preferably within the insurance industry or a similarly regulated environment.
- Experience with Pension Risk Transfer (PRT) and/or annuity operations is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated expertise in leading complex, multi-team initiatives with competing deadlines and priorities.
- Smartsheet, Excel, SharePoint, Jira, and Confluence proficiency strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to work independently, think critically, and solve problems without requiring close supervision.
