What You’ll Do:
- Case Management: Oversee personal injury and product liability cases, ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Legal Document Preparation: Draft complaints, discovery requests, demand letters, and settlement packages.
- Client Interaction: Communicate with clients regarding case status, discovery responses, and legal procedures.
- Medical & Evidence Gathering: Request and review medical records, bills, and lost wage documentation to build strong case files.
- Litigation Support: Assist attorneys in trial preparation, depositions, and hearings, organizing exhibits and coordinating with expert witnesses.
- Document Management: Maintain digital case files using Filevine & Lead Docket, tracking case progression and settlement negotiations.
- Administrative Support: Schedule client meetings, depositions, and attorney calls, ensuring a smooth workflow.
What We’re Looking For:
- 5 years of paralegal experience in personal injury and/or product liability litigation.
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies or a related field.
- Proficiency in legal tech tools – Filevine, Lead Docket, AI-based legal research, and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong multitasking & organizational skills – ability to handle multiple cases simultaneously.
- Excellent written & verbal communication – clear, professional, and client-focused.
- Team-oriented mindset – able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced legal setting.
