What are the responsibilities and job description for the Millworker Assistant position at Oliveri Millworks?
Oliveri Millworks is a custom high-end architectural window and door operation located in West Palm Beach, FL.
We are looking to hire assemblers and woodworkers for our shop that has previous experience in fabricating custom exterior doors, windows, and architectural millwork.
Millworker - Shop Requirements:
- Learn to assemble mahogany doors and windows from CNC fabricated parts. Including glue-ups
- Learn to run shapers, sanders, saws, joiners, routers, planers and all general shop equipment, safely.
- Must be able to read shop drawings
- Measure and rip wood to exact size based on cut lists provided by engineering.
Wood Worker Qualifications:
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Flexibility in schedule, willing to do installations if required and work overtime if necessary.
- Commitment to highest standards and workmanship.
- Previous experience working in millwork, cabinet or door & window manufacturing facility is a plus not a must.
- Prior experience with operation of a fork lift is a plus not a must.
