Preschool Float Teacher (Part-Time)
Monday and Wednesday 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM
Tuesday 12:00 PM - 4:30 PM
Will need to have availability to sub in if someone is out sick, or needs a vacation day or day off.
Responsibilities:
- Reports to and works in coordination with the director and owner.
- Responsible for assisting the director and teachers with daily operations.
- Assist with bathrooms breaks for kids, arts and crafts and serving food.
- May need to sub in a classroom if a teacher is out.
- Practice the core competencies of early childhood educations, and plan/implement daily program activities.
- Must maintain a full working knowledge of the daycare, all activities within it and all positions and their roles within the daycare.
- Responsible for communicating openly and professionally with parents about the children in their care and maintaining daily, monthly and yearly information on children.
- Assure classroom stays neat and tidy throughout the day.
- Make sure facility operates in full compliance with DHHR, city, health and safety, and fire marshal regulations.
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age
- Be willing to undergo a background check
- Be willing to meet any/all training requirements as needed.
- Be willing to pass a CPR/First Aid class within first 6 months of hire.
- At least 1 year of proven relevant work experience desired
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $11.00 - $11.50 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 25 per week
