Starting Pay - $31.41 - $39.26 (Based on Experience)

Qualifications :
Graduate of an accredited school in counseling or related field with a Masters or Doctorate degree
Licensed as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor by the Minnesota Board of Behavioral Health and Therapy in Minnesota
Must complete continuing education and professional development beyond formal education as outlined by certifying body
Ability to manage time and stress effectively and adapt to unpredictable situations within the patient care setting
Ability to teach and counsel individuals, families, and groups
BLS certification within 90 days of hire
Expectations Include :
Professional and ethical code of conduct
Demonstrates sufficient knowledge and understanding of evidence-based psychotherapies
Delivers psychotherapy following appropriate evidence and treatment guidelines
Terminates therapy appropriately when indicated to optimize access with ongoing care
Willingness to be flexible in care delivery model to serve overall needs for OMC patients
Culturally sensitive advocate for diverse populations
Ability to work autonomously and in partnership with healthcare team
Commitment to community service area
Demonstrates proficiency in electronic medical record use
Shares knowledge that promotes quality mental healthcare and improves clinical outcomes
Acts as leader, mentor, educator, researcher, and / or administrator as indicated
Demonstrates timely and accurate completion of all documentation
Job Responsibilities :
Maintains patient confidentiality and privacy at all times
Interviews, assess / screens, and diagnoses mental health conditions
