About the job
The Insurance Account Representative position plays a crucial role in helping drive growth for the insurance agency by targeting and acquiring new customers. This role involves working with prospects who are seeking insurance quotes and helping individuals with insurance solutions to their needs. You will work with our New Business Team to learn and implement proven strategies that ensure business growth and your success.
What the position involves
- Prospecting & Lead Generation: leads from people searching the internet for auto, home, and renter’s insurance quotes are captured from our Marketing Team and filtered directly to the Insurance Account Representative for quote workup.
- Customer Engagement: Promptly deliver requested quotes to customer by way of phone, text, or email with appropriate solutions to their insurance needs/requests.
- Insurance Policy(ices) Presentations: Deliver value and competitive pricing to customers with effective, and efficient, presentation of insurance product solutions (Auto, Home, Renter’s, Life, Small Business).
- Sales Strategy Development: Listen, learn, practice, and "buy-in" daily to our proven methods that become easily repeatable lead to a pathway of success
- Sales Targets: Meet or exceed weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales targets
Qualifications
- Effective communication skills - written and verbal (phone, text, email)
- Tech-savvy with familiarity and willingness to embrace digital communication tools.
- Customer-oriented mindset with strong desire for small wins early and often
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced often evolving work environment
- Previous, sales, marketing, or customer service is a plus, but not required.
Requirements
- A positive and proactive approach towards learning and growing
- Familiarity with digital communications tools and social media platforms
- Ability to work in a collaborative team setting while also being able to work independently to achieve and exceed required expectations.
- Ability to effectively manage your time, push through, and achieve meaningful small wins every day.

- Obtain insurance licenses: (1) Property and Casualty and (2) Life/Health - training provided
