Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of construction sites by cleaning and clearing debris.
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment necessary for construction projects.
- Support skilled tradespeople such as carpenters, electricians, and plumbers with their tasks.
- Operate basic hand tools and power tools under supervision.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area to prevent accidents.
- Participate in the assembly of structures, including framing, drywall installation, and roofing.
- Help with site layout and measuring as directed by supervisors.
- Adhere to project timelines and contribute to team efforts to meet deadlines.
Requirements
- Previous experience in construction or labor-intensive work is preferred but not required.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy materials (up to 50 pounds) and standing for long periods.
- Familiarity with basic hand tools and power tools is a plus.
