Estimating & Cost Analysis:

  • Develop accurate cost estimates by analyzing design requirements, material specifications, labor costs, and production timelines.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, production teams, and project managers to gather up-to-date pricing and ensure feasibility within customer budgets.

  • Revise drawings and estimates as needed based on feedback, changes in scope, or evolving customer preferences.

Quality Assurance & Compliance:

  • Ensure all designs and estimates adhere to company quality standards, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date project documentation, including drawings, estimates, and revisions, in the company’s CRM and file management systems.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Education & Experience:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in architecture, interior design, engineering, construction management, or a related field is preferred.
  • 2 years of experience in a design, drafting, or estimating role, ideally within the fireplace, architectural, construction, or interior design industries.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) and 3D modeling tools (e.g., SketchUp, 3ds Max).
  • Strong understanding of drafting principles, materials, construction methods, and industry standards.
  • Experience with estimating software and cost analysis tools.

Soft Skills & Competencies:

  • Exceptional attention to detail, precision, and accuracy in both design and cost calculations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex design and cost information to clients and team members.
  • Excellent time management skills, capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously and meeting tight deadlines.

Personal Attributes:
