What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Estimator position at ServiceMaster Restore?

Primary duties include:
- Document loss with clear and descriptive job photos and upload into operating system/software
- Writes reconstruction estimates using Xactimate and other estimating software
- Estimates using carrier audit standards and manages the estimate based on feedback from client and customer
- Communicates with project manager to ensure all required documentation is complete (photos, notes and documents signed)
- Prepare accurate quantity takeoffs and materials pricing
- Communicate w/ insurance companies, and adjusters via phone and email in a timely manner and acts as a liaison
- Creating and cultivate relationships with insurance adjusters
- Manage all estimate documents and assess project risks
- Addresses estimate exceptions in a timely manner
- Having constant and professional communication with our customers
Desired Qualities:
- Efficiency in Xactimate software.
- Min. 2 years of experience in construction
- Proficient in computer and phone usage
- Exposure to Microsoft or comparable
- Excellent communication skills, attention to detail

Requirements:
- Must be able to pass background and pre-employment drug screening
- Must have an Oregon Driver's License with a clean driving record
- Must have minimum 3 years construction industry experience.
