What are the responsibilities and job description for the EMT Intern - Wheelchair Van Driver position at Olympic Ambulance?
Olympic Ambulance is hiring 3-4 EMT Interns to begin work on 4/13/25. We are inviting candidates to arrive on one of two dates next week 3/24 (Mon) or 3/26 (Wed) at 1000hrs for an orientation and assessment. The location for the orientation and assessment will be our headquarters at 601 W Hendrickson Rd, Sequim, WA 98382.
The orientation will cover an overview of the company history, benefits of full-time employment, and pathways to promotion within the company. We will also explain the structure of our hybrid EMT program and the expectations of our EMT interns. For any of those interested in moving forward with their application, we will ask that you complete a Physical Ability Test (PAT) and a General Knowledge Exam. Individuals that pass these assessments will be invited to interview which can be conducted either in person or via Zoom at a time that is convenient for myself and the candidate.
Interested applicants should bring a driving abstract (3-year employment driving record) with them as well as a change of clothing appropriate for the PAT (workout clothes and sneakers/boots). Expect to be here no more than 2 hours. Offers of employment will be made by Friday, March 28, 2025.
EMT school is paid for by Olympic Ambulance and there is no out-of-pocket expense for the individuals selected.
