Faculty Position:
Olympic College is recruiting a part-time American Sign Language (ASL) faculty member to join our Social Sciences and Humanities Division. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching ASL courses, primarily ASL& 121, 122, and 123, as well as the possibility of teaching ASL 101 Fingerspelling and Numbering.
Responsibilities and Expectations:
- Teach daytime and evening in-person classes on the Bremerton and Satellite campuses
- Provide high-quality instruction, assessment, and feedback to students
- Maintain accurate records and participate in divisional meetings
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Deaf Studies or a related field
- Extensive coursework or experience in American Sign Language
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
