What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facilities Maintenance- Night Security position at Olympic Regional Development Authority?
Job Summary: Become a part of the facilities maintenance team at Mt Van Hoevenberg and the Olympic Jumping Complex as our night security person. This individual is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our premises during the evening and night shift.
Primary Responsibilities include:
- Monitor and patrol the premises regularly to establish and maintain a security presence.
- Control access to the facility.
- Conduct routine inspections of buildings and grounds for possible safety and security issues and to observe operational processes.
- Respond to alarms, notifications, incidents and emergencies ensuring escalation and reporting to proper individuals or emergency service providers.
- Other operations and maintenance duties as needed
Minimum Qualifications: Driver's license, proven experience in security operations preferably in similar role or related field, strong knowledge of security procedures, ability to remain calm and respond effectively in a high-pressure situation. Excellent communication skills.
Wage/Salary:
This position is identified as a Grade 13 on the ORDA/CSEA schedule with an entry rate of $ 19.38 per hour. The Olympic Authority offers an excellent benefits package that includes paid leave (sick, vacation, and personal time), paid holidays, health, dental, and vision insurance, participation in the NYS and Local Retirement Systems, and participation in NYS Deferred Compensation, as defined under the CSEA contract.
