Position Overview: The Residential Construction Project Manager will oversee all aspects of our outdoor living projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery of each job. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of residential construction, a strong eye for detail, and a commitment to customer satisfaction. This role will also require utilizing JobTread software for managing projects from start to finish, including budgeting, scheduling, and communication with both clients and subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all phases of residential outdoor living construction projects, taking a design from start of construction to final inspection and hand off.
- Manage and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and team members to ensure timely and high-quality completion of projects.
- Utilize JobTread software to track project schedules, manage budgets, communicate with clients, and ensure that all project milestones are met.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop detailed project plans, including resource allocation, timeline management, and cost estimates.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the client’s specifications.
- Foster strong relationships with clients and vendors, ensuring a seamless and professional experience throughout the project.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in residential construction project management, with a focus on outdoor living (covered patios, outdoor kitchens, pools, landscaping, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, site management, and quality control.
- Proficiency in using Project management software (BuilderTrend, ProCore, JobTread, CoConstruct, etc).
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively liaise between clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while staying organized and detail-oriented.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think quickly and adapt to changing project requirements.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with outdoor living design and a strong understanding of Outdoor kitchens, building construction, hardscapes, and landscaping.
- Familiarity with building codes and zoning regulations specific to residential outdoor living projects.
- Experience working with high-end residential clients.
