Overview
Williams Excavation and Demolition is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Civil Project Manager to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of civil processes, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders. This role is crucial in ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Duties
- Collaborate with project management team, architects, planners, and other key members.
- Lead project delivery, project financial performance, scope, schedule management and quality control.
- Estimating of project assigned, completed on time in a professional manner.
- Procurement of labor, material, permits and equipment costs associated with the scopes of work.
- Perform detailed quantity take-off and pricing of projects as assigned
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Make critical decisions to ensure projects maintain schedule and scope.
- Coordinate planning and communication with superintendents and subs
- Investigate conditions at the project site prior to bid to understand and evaluate site accessibility, surface and underground conditions and any condition that would affect construction means, methods and costs.
- Review utility locations and communicate with appropriate staff.
- Assist with customer questions and requests.
- Perform billing for ongoing projects.
- Oversee ongoing and future projects
- Effective client management by leading projects intending to generate a repeat client
- Perform job site visits as needed
- Understand and implement established Company policies and procedures (Credit policy, Employee Handbook, OSHA regulations, Safety polices etc.)
- Other duties as assigned
Skills
- Strong computer skills and software knowledge
- Knowledge in Bluebeam, Carlson, MS Excel and Sage Estimating systems preferred
- Working knowledge of construction equipment
- Excellent multitasking skills
- Excellent knowledge on GPS systems
- Ability to handle pressure well
- Able to successfully follow verbal and written instructions
- Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Strong Supervisory skills
- Able to adapt to changes well
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
