Job Description:
· We are seeking a Senior Healthcare Business System Analyst to join our team in Minneapolis, MN. This role is essential for driving the success of our healthcare projects, particularly in the areas of Medicaid and claims analysis. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in healthcare systems, along with proven experience in analyzing complex datasets to inform strategic decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
· Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements related to healthcare systems, Medicaid programs, and claims processing.
· Analyze and interpret Medicaid claims data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
· Develop and maintain detailed documentation including business requirements, process flows, and system specifications.
· Facilitate workshops and meetings with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project objectives and deliverables.
· Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to enhance operational efficiency and support decision-making processes.
· Assist in the development and implementation of system enhancements and upgrades, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
· Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and support the implementation of new systems or enhancements.
· Train end-users and provide ongoing support to ensure successful adoption of new processes and tools.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Health Information Management, or a related field.
· Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business System Analyst in the healthcare industry.
· Strong understanding of Medicaid regulations, claims processing, and healthcare data analytics.
· Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., SQL, Excel, Tableau).
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
