Receptionist
OPPM is a property management company seeking our next addition to the team. The front desk receptionist position plays a crucial role in making sure that the office runs smoothly and is bilingual in Spanish.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about administration is excited to be a valued team player. This is a key position on our team, so multitasking, and the ability to work well under pressure is crucial.
As a front desk receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our company. We desire to have team members who have friendly attitudes, enjoy creative problem-solving, and have excellent communication skills.
Your Responsibilities Would Include:
- Greeting & interacting with customers, both in-person and over the phone
- Processing applications, running background checks, and general tenant screening
- Scheduling showings
- Answer, screen, and forward incoming calls
- Keeping the reception area/office clean
- Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing and faxing
- Communicate with other team members to make sure that everyone is on the same page
- Provide translation for Spanish speaking customers

Skills & Qualifications:
·High School Diploma or equivalent required.
·Strong verbal communication skills and ability to effectively communicate with others on the phone, in person, and electronically. Able to handle confidential information with discretion. Able to work in a fast-paced environment with an ability to adapt to change quickly. Able to work independently or as part of a team. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with an ability to adapt to change quickly and multi-task effectively. Ability to work in a climate of confidentiality when dealing with sensitive matters. Must have basic computer skills. Knowledge of general office equipment such as printers, fax machines, copiers, computers, phones, etc., is a plus but not required.
