What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parts Runner/Shop and Yard Help position at Omann Brothers Paving?
Responsible for picking up delivering parts, stocking up in our shop or field locations. Will assist in keeping the shop clean and organized.
Requires a valid drivers license and clean driving record.
Essential Functions
- Keep the service garage/yard orderly and clean
- Assisting with any general labor tasks and maintenance around the shop, offices and yard.
- Organize, stock and maintain inventory
- May operate a variety of hand and power tools
- The ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
- Maintain a valid drivers license with a clean driving record
- Reliable and punctual
- Communicate effectively (written and verbal), and have good interpersonal skills
- Customer service focused
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to read and interpret company procedural documents
- Effective problem solving skills and abilities
- Work independently
- Manage time effectively
- Perform other duties as deemed necessary by management
Job Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Class D drivers license or higher.
- Must have or obtain a DOT health card
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
