Job Description: We are seeking a Social Media Manager/Content Creator to join our team and lead our digital marketing efforts. This role is ideal for someone who loves food, enjoys storytelling, and has experience in building a brand’s online presence. The ideal candidate will help us build strong connections with our community, create compelling content, and boost brand awareness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute social media strategies for platforms like Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and more.
• Create visually appealing, on-brand content (photos, videos, graphics) that tells the story of Omar’s Pitas & Platters.
• Manage social media accounts, engage with followers, and respond to inquiries and feedback.
• Monitor and analyze social media performance using insights and analytics tools, and adjust strategies as needed.
• Stay on top of social media trends, food trends, and digital marketing best practices.
• Collaborate with the restaurant team to capture the behind-the-scenes vibe, new menu items, events, and promotions.
• Schedule and manage posts, ensuring regular and consistent content.
• Assist with other marketing initiatives as needed.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in social media management and content creation.
• Proficiency in photo and video editing software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar tools).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A passion for food and the ability to creatively showcase our brand.
• Knowledge of social media analytics tools and ability to interpret data to improve performance.
• Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail.
• Self-starter who can work independently and meet deadline.
