As a Controller Consultant, you will work closely with CFOs, business owners, and leadership teams to manage financial operations, oversee accounting teams, and provide strategic financial guidance. This role will provide hands-on experience across multiple industries, exposure to high-level financial decision-making, and the opportunity to develop into a senior financial leadership role. Please note: This position is expected to be in office 4/5 days per week.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Manage and oversee financial transactions to the general ledger
- Manage and oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Manage and process payroll, cash flow, and financing solutions
- Create and manage financial reporting for a diverse portfolio of clients while offering insight and analysis on business, budget, and projections
- Present financials to company owners and / or board of directors
- Interface with clients and their staff, managing effective client communication while advocating for their needs
- Win add-on work proactively for clients as needs are identified
- Generate client work through Omega or personal network

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree required
- Experience establishing and maintaining strong client relationships
- 2 or more years of controller experience
- Strong GAAP knowledge required, CPA a plus
- Fluent in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of QuickBooks experience required – QuickBooks certification a plus
- Proficient with the latest technology; can quickly learn and manage multiple software platforms
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $110,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
