Position Summary
Omega CDC is seeking a contracted Internal Marketing/Communication Specialist to serve as a
central point of contact for managing communication efforts, ensuring effective information
dissemination across Northwest Dayton, and aligning key messaging with Omega CDC and the
Northwest Dayton Partnership's initiatives. This 20-30 hour per week role will support internal
and external communication, brand consistency, and strategic outreach to enhance community
engagement and organizational awareness.

- Internal & External Communications
- Develop and implement internal communication strategies to keep staff,
- Manage Omega CDC's marketing and communication channels, including
- Serve as the primary liaison for coordinating messaging and branding efforts with
- Support the Director of Operations in ensuring all marketing materials align with
- Oversee the creation of promotional content, including press releases, flyers, and
- Track and analyze communication metrics to measure the impact of outreach efforts.
- Partnership & Initiative Support
- Collaborate with Learn to Earn Dayton to streamline and centralize updates on the
- Develop consistent key messaging that aligns with the overarching goals of Omega
- Ensure that all communication efforts reinforce the impact of Power of Place and
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities)
- Proven experience in marketing, communications, public relations, or a related field.
- Strong writing, editing, and content development skills.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools, social media platforms, and email marketing software.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with nonprofit organizations, community partnerships, or public
