Concrete Laborer

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Concrete Laborer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience in concrete finishing and a strong understanding of construction site operations. This role involves working on various projects, including commercial renovations and hardscaping, while ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and pouring of concrete for various structures and surfaces.
• Perform concrete finishing tasks to achieve smooth surfaces and proper texture.
• Collaborate with team members to read and interpret blueprints for project specifications.
• Engage in heavy lifting and moving of materials as required on the job site.
• Support masonry work, including laying bricks or blocks as needed.
• Participate in renovation projects, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
• Operate equipment safely, including tools for welding when necessary.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times.

Skills

• Proficient in concrete finishing techniques and practices.
• Familiarity with construction site protocols and safety regulations.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand project plans effectively.
• Experience in hardscape installation, including patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
• Basic masonry skills are preferred but not mandatory.
• Capability to perform heavy lifting tasks consistently throughout the workday.
• Knowledge of drywall installation can be an asset.
• Valid commercial driving license is a plus for transporting materials when needed.

Pay: $23.53 - $25.89 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
