Key Responsibilities of this Job:
- Generate invoices in the ERP system, export to QuickBooks and email to customers
- Invoice and collect service contracts; reconcile unearned revenue monthly
- Process customer deposits, ensuring accurate invoicing and monthly reconciliation
- Contact customers via phone and email regarding collecting payments of invoices
- Record and apply payments accurately to corresponding invoices
- Maintain complete and organized documentation within Salesforce and job folders
- Ensure proper collection and documentation of customer exemption certificates
- Calculate, accrue, and reconcile commissions monthly
- Record, amortize, and reconcile Warranty Reserves monthly
- Perform monthly reconciliation of Accounts Receivable and Other Receivables
- Assist in answering incoming calls, directing inquiries to the appropriate department, and providing excellent customer service to our internal and external customers
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for all Accounts Receivable processes
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- This is an on-site position, working Monday-Friday from 8:00 - 5:00
The Ideal Candidate has:
- Associate degree in Accounting or commensurate experience required
- Experience with QuickBooks and ERP systems (preferred)
- Knowledge of accounting principles and best practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including Word and Excel
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and data integrity
- Strong persuasive skills in collections and resolving customer disputes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to work
